Franchise Information

We are always on the lookout for good people with good communication skills. Of great importance is the ability to convey to clients, in simple terms, what a particular problem is and how it can be fixed, in regards to either domestic or commercial maintenance.

A lot of effort has been put into the production of a franchise manual, to make it very easy for the franchisee to understand and to comply to the Mr Fix-It professionalism and the kind of quality in service that our customers expect. The franchise manual is very attractive and user-friendly, with a huge range of information from how to answer calls to business management skills.

Check out the sections below to find out all about what it takes to be a franchisee and you could be taking the first steps on an exciting new career path...

The Mr Fix-It business description

The business of a Mr Fix-it franchise is a maintenance service for domestic, commercial and industrial clients – of their buildings, assets and grounds.

The franchise has an established proven formula whereby the franchisee can apply their aptitude for kiwi ingenuity, problem solving, tinkering, and hard work. The work undertaken by Mr Fix-it encompasses many activities of specialised trades and in many cases involves applying our skills to those awkward jobs that fall between the recognised trade skills.

The business was started in February 1998 and originated in Christchurch, New Zealand. The business concept was born out of the desire to apply practical skills to challenging tasks and to establish a life and work style to suit. Mr Fix-it is a lucrative business that started with an idea, utilising low-key marketing strategies and consistent quality of work.
